CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR MESSAGE

FROM THE PRESIDENT– COUNCIL OF EWE ASSOCIATIONS OF NORTH AMERICA, INC (CEANA)-DR TSATSU E. NYAMADI

“And the angel said unto them, fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:10-11). Amen.”

As we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us rejoice in the fact that we made it this far and look forward to what is coming. May this Christmas bring us all much joy and happiness, and may the New Year bring us success and prosperity. Thanks for being such a great CEANA family.

Just a few months ago, many of us met in Atlanta, Georgia for the 30th anniversary celebration of our illustrious CEANA Convention. Despite all the challenges that we faced in 2023, we can all be most grateful for how far we have come. As we reflect, I want to thank each one of you for your sacrifices and contributions of time, labor, and finances to help CEANA move closer to its set goals. We made significant achievements in the following areas this year:

• Completed the construction of the Pedestrian Footbridge at Agordoe.

• Completed the construction of four (4) Unit Staff Quarters at Adutor.

• Successfully organized the 30th CEANA Convention anniversary.

• Donated $25,000.00 worth of relief items to 6 communities (Seva, Fiaxor, Galosota, Sokpoe,

Mepe, Alavanyo-Avadiokome) affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage.

• In the process of completing the construction of a three (3) classroom block and an office for E.P. Junior High School at Peki-Dzake.

• Awarded 45 high school scholarships in Eweland – Ghana, Benin, and Togo.

I wish to express my sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all of you and your families. Thank you very much for your support. As we celebrate Christmas and welcome 2024, I want you to look forward to these plans that we want to achieve in the coming year:
