CEANA Commissions a Pedestrian Footbridge Agordoe

On Friday, February 24th, Dr. Tsatsu Nyamadi-President of CEANA led a delegation to Agordoe to commission a beautiful pedestrian footbridge, which was solely funded by CEANA. This project was constructed by staff and students of the civil engineering faculty of Ho Technical University. The Vice-Chancellor Prof Hoenyenuga and other heads of the various faculties of Ho Technical University were present to firsthand over the completed constructed bridge to CEANA.

Mr. President, Togbui Agbelom, supported by the CEANA delegation and many Chiefs, Queen mothers, and citizens of the Akatsi traditional area were all present to witness this life-changing project for the people of Torve and other small villages that have to swim across the Torve river to access school, market and other needs of the villagers. Avenor TV provided TV coverage and streamed the event live on CEANA’s Facebook and YouTube to thousands of viewers across the globe.

Dr. Tsatsu Nyamadi emphasized during the commissioning speech, the need for the community’s maintenance and upkeep of the various projects constructed by CEANA. He was very thankful to the thousands of donors to CEANA over the years, whose contributions have made it possible for CEANA to continue its good works of providing very essential projects in the Eweland, intended to improve the lives of citizens and residents in these communities.

The president of CEANA also mentioned that CEANA has 3 more projects earmarked for development in the near term. Specifically, CEANA will renovate the EP Junior High School building at Peki-Dzake, the Construction of a Kindergarten (KG) Building at Dodome-Awuaisu, and construction of a computer library at Greater Kloto.
